About the Best of Cincinnati Card
Your Best of Cincinnati Card entitles you to an exciting new world of dining savings. Now you can eat at a wide variety of restaurants around town, from casual to fine dining - and all at terrific savings of 40% - and all available exclusively to Best of Cincinnati Card members.

We are frequently updating our website with updates of new participating businesses and other exciting offers. So check back regularly for the most up-to-date information.

Simply click the "Join Now" link at the top of this page and fill out the short form. (Remember to write down your user name and password so you won't forget). There is a one-time $24.95 administrative charge to enroll. Your card will arrive in the mail within the next few days – activated and ready to use.

You receive your 40% savings when you add money to your Best of Cincinnati card. Your card is fully rechargeable. You can add money as often and as many times as you like - always at 60 cents on the dollar.

You will also receive regular updates by email to keep you alerted to new restaurants and businesses that have been added to the program along with other exclusive offers such as free tickets to local events.

Q: Does the restaurant take 40% off my check?
A: No. You receive your 40% savings when you add money to your Best of Cincinnati card. For example, when you add $100 to your card, you pay only $60. Use your card just like cash for regularly priced meals when you dine-in at participating restaurants.

Q: My card is almost out of money, what do I do?
A: Your Best of Cincinnati card is fully reloadable and rechargeable. Log in to your account at www.bestofcincinnaticard.com and add anywhere from $20 (you pay only $12) to $500 (you pay only $300) to your card. You get 40% savings every time you add credit.

Q: Is buying online safe?
A: The Best of Cincinnati card website uses secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology to secure communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. The site does not store or save your card information, it needs to be entered each time. Your credit card information is completely safe and secure.

Q: When I add money to my card, do I receive an e-mail confirmation?
A: You will receive one email confirmation for each purchase of credit to your Best of Cincinnati card. Save it for your records. If you do not get one, please check that it was not blocked by your spam filter.

Q: Once I add money to my card, when can I use it?
A: Upon approval of your transaction, your money is available to use immediately.

Q: I don't know how much money I have on my card. How do I check my balance?
A: When logged in to your account, select “Balance” to check your current card balance. If you are already at the restaurant, your server can do a balance check for you at their card processing terminal.

Q: What happens if I do not have enough money on my card to pay the entire check?
A: The card purchase will not be approved, but the printout will show your current balance. You can ask your server to run your card again for the remaining balance and pay the difference in cash or personal credit card. Or, if you have a mobile device with internet access, you can log in to your account and add more money to your Best of Cincinnati card.

Q: Can I use my Best of Cincinnati card for the tip?
A: Your Best of Cincinnati card covers everything but the gratuity. Gratuity must be added in cash or charged to your personal credit card. Remember that many businesses require a minimum amount for a credit card transaction.
Since you are dining at a discount, please take care of your servers, they will certainly appreciate it.

Q: Can I use my Best of Cincinnati card for carryout orders?
A: The Best of Cincinnati card may be used for dine-in purchases only in the restaurant's dining room. There may be exceptions, so call the restaurant management and ask ahead of time.

Q: Is there a limit to how much credit I can use at any one time?
A: The maximum amount for any single transaction on your Best of Cincinnati card is $200.

Q: I've got a buy one, get one free coupon. Can I also use my Best of Cincinnati card?
A: The Best of Cincinnati card may not be used in combination with any other advertised or discounted offers. Please check with the restaurant management in advance.

Q: I just purchased a membership. When will my Best of Cincinnati card arrive?
A: Your Best of Cincinnati card membership will be processed and your card will mailed first class within 7 business days of your purchase. Your card comes activated and ready to use.

Q: Can I give a Best of Cincinnati card as a gift?

Q: Are there any usage restrictions?
A: The Best of Cincinnati card can be used at all times for dining room meals with the exception of Valentine's Day, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day and New Year's Eve. Also, the card cannot be used to purchase restaurant gift cards.

Q: What happens if I lose my card?
A.: If you lose your Best of Cincinnati card, please call us as soon as possible. Contact Best of Card Customer Service at 513-665-4700 x125 or via email at jdorsey@citybeat.com. Once we verify you as the cardmember, we will deactivate your card and send you a replacement. Any money that was on the lost card will be transferred to your new replacement card.
